Born in the vibrant heart of Mexico City to parents from two very different worlds, my life has always been a blend of cultures and experiences. My mother, raised in a rural community in central Texas, and my father, who grew up in Nicaragua after being born in Costa Rica, instilled in me a deep appreciation for diversity and a curiosity about the world. These roots would shape the explorer within me.

A Passion for Culture, Gastronomy and Adventure

From an early age, I found joy in the great outdoors. My adventures began with the Boy Scouts, where I learned to navigate the natural world, fish in tranquil waters, and solve problems with resourcefulness. These early lessons laid the foundation for a lifelong passion for discovery.

As a young traveler, I explored some of the most stunning beach destinations along Mexico’s Pacific coastline, immersing myself in the beauty of pristine shores and azure waters. Whether camping under the stars or experiencing the luxury of resorts, I developed a love for crafting moments that balance natural beauty with refined comfort. My journeys also took me to Mexico’s colonial gems like San Miguel de Allende, Mérida, and Oaxaca, each steeped in history and charm, as well as awe-inspiring archaeological treasures such as Teotihuacan, Chichen-Itza, Palenque, Tulum, and even Tikal in Guatemala. These places sparked a sense of wonder that I carry with me to this day.

But it wasn’t just the landscapes that captivated me—it was also the stories, flavors, and traditions of the people I encountered. From savoring authentic mole in Oaxaca to indulging in fresh ceviche along the coast, I developed a profound love for gastronomy and its ability to connect us to the soul of a place. Pairing this passion with my love of culture and adventure, I began to see travel as a way to create transformative experiences that awaken all the senses.

A Career in Precision and Protection

As I grew older, my path led me into the fields of emergency preparedness, executive protection, and travel safety. These roles demanded an exceptional attention to detail and the ability to anticipate challenges. I mastered skills in logistics, corporate aviation, private yachting, and event planning, all while ensuring the safety and comfort of high-profile clients.

Through these experiences, I developed a deep understanding of what it takes to create seamless, secure, and extraordinary journeys. This expertise became the foundation for my two published books: "The Executive Protection Handbook: Essential Skills for Protecting Leaders" and "The Ultimate Travel & Safety Guidebook for Mexico". These works reflect my commitment to not only protecting others but also empowering them to explore the world safely and confidently.

A Life-Changing Encounter

In 2019, I had the honor of working on the BBC’s Blue Planet Live 2, the most ambitious marine wildlife documentary ever produced at the time. Filming along the breathtaking coast of Baja California and the Sea of Cortés, I witnessed the majestic beauty of grey whales, blue whales, and humpback whales. But the most transformative moment came when I entered the water and connected with these incredible creatures up close.

It was a humbling and life-changing experience. Floating alongside these gentle giants in the calm, sparkling waters of the Sea of Cortés, I was struck by the vastness of the universe and our delicate place within it. It reminded me of the importance of balance—not just in nature, but in life itself. That moment solidified my desire to share the magic of the world with others.

Over the years, my adventures have taken me across diverse environments, from bustling urban streets in Europe to serene countryside escapes, gastronomic tours, and sailing along the coasts of Italy and the French Riviera. Whether indulging in a Michelin-starred meal, exploring cultural landmarks, or yachting on crystal-clear waters, I’ve come to understand that luxury is not just about comfort—it’s about creating moments that inspire and connect us to the world around us.

I’ve also had the privilege of working on private yachts, ranging from sport fishing vessels to 350+ foot mega yachts, and crafting unforgettable experiences for the most discerning clients. These experiences inspired the creation of Go Privately LLC—a luxury travel service dedicated to curating bespoke journeys that inspire, delight, and transform.
